Mk VII-1 Rollo-Mixer® Rotary Drum Mixer

The Mk VII-1 is a versatile rotary drum mixer designed for uniform mixing, blending and coating of powders, pellets and granules having a wide variance in particle size and density in minutes. The very capable Mk VII-1 delivers a cascading curtain of free-falling material for coating with various liquids. An enclosed turbine section and proprietary updated internal design allows the Mk VII-1 to take on a wide variety of blending and coating applications. Advanced cleanout and control options are continuously enhanced.

The Mk VII-1 design is ideal for: agricultural chemicals, animal health products, fertilizers, livestock premixes, gourmet tea, kitty litter, laundry fragrances, thermoplastic elastomers, coating polymer powders, flavoring & casing tobacco, rodenticides, herbicides and much more.

Loading

The Mk VII-1 can be loaded by gravity through hoppers connected to load in chutes chutes above and on the side of the mixer.  Multiple ingredients can be loaded while the machine is at rest or in motion.  The Rollo-Mixer is full at shaft center.  Mk VII-1 Rollo-Mixers can accommodate multiple methods of loading by gravity from: Silos, Super saks, Gaylord bags, pneumatically, from elevator legs, bags and boxes.

Discharge

Material from the free-falling curtain is diverted by gravity out the discharge chute in a steady, unimpeded, uniform stream — differentiating Rollo-Mixers from other industrial drum mixers. Depending on the speed and size of the mixer, product can be discharged up to 2 tons per minute. Product blends throughout the discharge. The Mk VII-1 continues running until product discharge is complete.
