Blending and Coating Building Products in the Rollo Mixer

Many building products require homogeneous mixing in order for these materials to function properly on application. Mixing stucco premixes involves blending light density fibers with heavy Portland cement powders, which is a challenge for other mechanical mixers. The Rollo-Mixer® is designed to uniformly blend these dissimilar particle sizes and densities without separation. From blending vinyl composite tile and concrete premixes to mixing thin sets and mortar mixes, the Continental Rollo-Mixer® Batch Mixer creates uniform finished products that are manufactured around the world. Color tile grouts, both sanded and non-sanded, require an exact color match in the lab before packaging. In 1989, Continental invented a Product Intensifier attachment to thoroughly develop pigment additives without streaking.
